Be a part of urban gardening in action within the Indianapolis community and see how it makes an impact. We'll learn about nutrition in an urban environment and why it is so important. We will also tour Growing Places Indy and find out what they are all about, ask questions, and have an opportunity to make a difference with volunteering. Space is limited! Be a part of the opportunity for those in recovery from a serious mental illness to gain confidence and to share their individual experiences of resilience and transformation.
This is chance to dispel the stereotypes and misconceptions. You can also ask presenters questions to gain a deeper understanding of mental health conditions.
