- Past jobs and experience: I spent MANY years as a high school business teacher at Pendleton Heights High School before transitioning to a role as a Career Coach at Ivy Tech - Anderson.
Advice to students: Don't be afraid to change your major to a career area that is a better fit for you! It's never too late to change your mind!
If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why? Event Management—I really like planning and hosting events for my family and friends, so I think it would be great fun to do that as a job!
Biography: I grew up in Pendleton, Indiana, and taught at the high school there for many years. I've been married for a few decades and we have 2 grown kids who both had the audacity to move far away—in opposite directions! So, that has made me enjoy traveling very much! I also love to quilt and do yoga.
