Jane R. Williams became the interim vice provost for undergraduate education and dean of University College in June 2026. In this role, Williams works with colleagues across the university and within the college to enhance all aspects of student success. In particular, her and her colleagues' work focuses on improving retention and graduation rates, improving student experiences in the classroom, and helping students towards their academic and career goals. She leads the Division of Undergraduate Education and its key units, University College, Honors College, and Institute for Engaged Learning, in delivering high-quality learning experiences and support programs to undergraduate students.
