Advice to students: Invest in discovering yourself—who you are, what you love, what makes you lose track of time, and what brings you energy. There are hundreds of places and thousands of ways to love what you do.
If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?: Physical education and teacher education. Firstly, it's because that is (basically) what I studied in my undergrad. And secondly, it's because I LOVE to teach, and I truly enjoy learning about health, fitness, nutrition, and exercise.
Biography: I am from Plymouth, Indiana, known for former NBA star Scott Skiles and the Blueberry Festival. I love reading and writing, like, a lot, and geek out over both. I find that whenever I come across a trailhead, something in me stirs deep down and all I can think about is exploring that trail. I have a wife and three kids, along with our dog, Levi. I find great joy in helping others discover new things, whether that is within a subject or within themselves. And I find a lot of meaning in helping others build a bridge between what they discover and what they can do with their lives.
